I grew up in a small town in Illinois surrounded by cornfields and flat lands. Keeping yourself entertained wasn't always easy, but thankfully I had an active imagination and was surrounded by artistic and creative people in my family who always made life interesting. One of the most influential people in my life was my grandfather. He was quite the character! He owned his own sound production company and was always on the go. DJ'ing at the local radio station, running the sound for big acts that would come into town for the county fair, or gracing wedding parties with his deep, silky voice while he spun hits from the 80s. I looked up to my grandpa and always wanted to be like him. At a young age, you could often find me writing, producing and staring in my own radio morning show. Sure, the only audience I had was my family and friends that I forced to listen, but it's what I had, and I loved it! Fast forward many years later and my dreams took a back seat to the corporate life. I ended up in Chicago for about 8 years working for a big bank and settled in Charlotte, NC which is where I now call home. For many years that dream of being a voice actor just seemed too far away to be real. That is until I finally took the leap, diving headfirst and haven't looked back since! I have coached with and continue to coach and study with some of the best in the business, constantly striving to be better at the craft. I now have clients all over the world and love nothing more than to be that bow that ties a project together!
So, how can I help your business?
Every project is an opportunity to grow, learn, and connect with audiences on a profound level. My goal is to deliver a voice over performance that will engage your audience and make them really feel something. I strive to make the material relatable, fun and easy to listen to while seamlessly building that connection with the listener. I also aim to make your job easier and share in our successes together! Working together once is great, but having a person that you can rely on time and time again to get the job done right every time is key. That's what I bring to my performances.
I record in a sound treated studio space with very low ambient noise (less than -65 db.) using the Sennheiser MKH 416 which is widely considered one of the best in the industry. Those recordings are engineered though Adobe Audition and delivered to you completely mastered unless raw audio is requested of course. If you have suggestions or changes, the first two rounds of recordings are made at no additional charge and any mispronunciations are covered to ensure your final recording is exactly what you had in mind.
