A little about who I am
I’m Andrew Ward, and voiceover has been in the background of my life for a lot longer than I realized.
I grew up in a small town in Illinois, and my grandfather owned a sound production company and worked in radio and live events. As a kid, I even made my own mock radio shows for family and friends. Apparently I was doing demo prep before I knew what a demo was.
Life took me into the corporate world for a while, including years in Chicago, where I learned a lot about communication, deadlines, and how much tone can change the way a message lands. Eventually I found my way back to the microphone and decided to give the thing I had always been drawn to a real shot.
Today I work with clients on commercials, corporate narration, eLearning, political media, and everything in between. I love reads that feel natural, grounded, and human. I also really enjoy the collaboration that comes with getting a script from “pretty good” to exactly right.
I take the work seriously. I just don’t think the process has to feel stiff or complicated.

I want clients to feel like they can give direction, change their mind, try something weird, or ask for another take without worrying about making the session difficult. My job is to listen, understand what you are trying to accomplish, and make the process as easy as possible.
A great read matters. So does being someone you actually want to work with again.
How I deliver the best sound
I record from a professionally treated home studio using a Sennheiser MKH 416 and Apollo Solo interface. My setup is built for clean, consistent, broadcast ready audio that drops easily into a production workflow.
I’m available for live directed sessions through Source Connect and other remote platforms, or I can work independently from clear direction and deliver finished files quickly.
Whether it is a full session, a pickup, or a last minute change, the goal is simple: great audio, consistent sound, and no technical headaches.
